It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 21-31 of the General Laws entitled "Rhode Island Food, Drugs, and |
2 | Cosmetics Act" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 21-31-25. Fee limit on third-party food delivery services. |
4 | During a state of emergency declared by the governor of the state of Rhode Island pursuant |
5 | to chapter 15 of title 30 and for a period of ninety (90) days after the end of the declared state of |
6 | emergency, the maximum delivery fee to be charged by a third-party food delivery service shall be |
7 | fifteen percent (15%). |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
