RELATING TO MILITARY AFFAIRS AND DEFENSE -- BENEFITS FOR ACTIVE DUTY | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 30-33 of the General Laws entitled "The Rhode Island Military |
2 | Family Relief Act" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 30-33-7. Active duty military daycare assistance. |
4 | Any Rhode Island resident called to, or in, active duty military service lasting more than |
5 | thirty (30) days who, because of their absence, requires daycare services for any legal dependent, |
6 | shall have that daycare provided at state expense, in a state-approved facility. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
