	RELATING TO GENERAL ASSEMBLY -- THE GOLD STAR FAMILY HIGHWAY

	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Chapter 22-7.4 of the General Laws entitled "Permanent Joint Committee
2	on Naming All New Buildings, Bridges, Edifices and Other State Constructions" is hereby
3	amended by adding thereto the following section:
4	22-7.4-137. The Gold Star Family Highway.
5	The name of the stretch of highway known as Chopmist Hill Road from Route 44 in
6	Chepachet to Route 6, the Hartford Pike (so called) in the town of Scituate, shall hereafter be
7	named and known as the "Gold Star Family Highway".
8	SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.

	BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

1	This act would rename a portion of highway on Chopmist Hill Road from Route 44 in
2	Chepachet to Route 6 in Scituate, now known a Hartford Pike, as the Gold Star Family Highway.
3	This act would take effect upon passage.
