WHEREAS, Ashley Duffy is married to Edward Duffy and is a graduate of North |
|

Smithfield High School. She is close to her mom and has three siblings, all brothers, one is her |
|

twin, and two are younger; and |
|

WHEREAS, Perhaps it is from having such a wonderful family, or maybe genetics or |
|

something instinctual, but Ashley is just incredibly well-suited to the consumer industry and to |
|
1-6 |
being manager at Fast Freddie’s in Smithfield; and |
|
1-7 |
WHEREAS, Warm and welcoming, Ashley has that “je ne sais quoi” that draws people |
|
1-8 |
to her and makes them feel comfortable. From neighborhood regulars to local elected officials, |
|
1-9 |
Ashley and her staff have made Fast Freddie’s a casual and warm environment to meet and relax |
|
1-10 |
with friends, constituents, or family; and |
|
1-11 |
WHEREAS, Never asking anyone to do a chore that she herself hasn’t or wouldn’t do, |
|
1-12 |
Ashley is a coach “extraordinaire” to her fellow employees, so it is no wonder that she was |
|
1-13 |
recently promoted to Assistant Territory Manager with the responsibility of overseeing thirteen |
|
1-14 |
convenience stores; and |
|
1-15 |
WHEREAS, Ashley’s happy and loving personality and her industrious work ethic are |
|
1-16 |
assets that are rare and commendable so it is also not surprising that she has now earned the New |
|
1-17 |
England Convenience Store Manager of the Year Award in Leadership; now, therefore be it |
|
1-18 |
RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and |
|
1-19 |
Providence Plantations hereby recognizes and honors Ashley Duffy for earning the New England |
|
1-20 |
Convenience Store Manager of the Year Award. We wish her good health, much happiness, and |
|

continued success in all her endeavors; and be it further |
|

RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
