RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE STATE TRAFFIC COMMISSION TO TAKE STEPS

TO IMPROVE PEDESTRIAN SAFETY IN THE TOWN OF NORTH PROVIDENCE

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

Providence Plantations hereby respectfully requests the State Traffic Commission to take the

necessary steps to improve pedestrian safety in the area of 1905 Mineral Spring Avenue, North

Providence, including, but not limited to, the installation of a pedestrian push button light,

improved signage, crosswalk striping, and other safety features as deemed appropriate; and be it

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Chairman of the State Traffic Commission.
