EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF ROBERT R. LAMOUREUX | |

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Robert |
|

R. Lamoureux, the devoted husband of his wife, Suzette, and a well-respected member of the |
|
1-3 |
community; and |
|
1-4 |
     WHEREAS, Mr. Lamoureux was born in Woonsocket and was the son of the late George |
|
1-5 |
and Doris Lamoureux, Sr.; and |
|
1-6 |
     WHEREAS, In addition to his wife, Mr. Lamoureux is survived by his brother, Donald |
|
1-7 |
Lamoureux, his three sisters, Elaine D. DiPardo, Delores Duquette, and Janet Moore, and his |
|
1-8 |
many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late George Lamoureux, Jr., and Claire |
|
1-9 |
Lenberg; and |
|
1-10 |
     WHEREAS, Mr. Lamoureux was a true outdoorsmen who loved being one with nature |
|
1-11 |
and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bird watching. He was also an avid cribbage player |
|
1-12 |
and enjoyed spending time with his loving companion, Rascal; and |
|
1-13 |
     WHEREAS, Sociable and active for many years within the community, Mr. Lamoureux |
|
1-14 |
was a member of numerous organizations, including the Tigertown Deer Chasers, Inc., Post Polio |
|
1-15 |
Group #97, and the Elks Club-Coventry West Greenwich, Lodge #2285; and |
|
1-16 |
     WHEREAS, Our thoughts and hearts hold great empathy and sorrow for the family and |
|
1-17 |
friends of Robert Lamoureux. He enriched the lives of all who knew him and will be dearly |
|
1-18 |
missed; now, therefore be it |
|
1-19 |
     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |
|
1-20 |
hereby expresses our deepest sympathies on the passing of Robert R. Lamoureux; and be it |
|
1-21 |
further |

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to |
|
2-2 |
transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Suzette Lamoureux. |
