AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF NORTH PROVIDENCE TO REDISTRICT THE TOWN | |

COUNCIL AND SCHOOL COMMITTEE DISTRICTS | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |

SECTION 1. The town of North Providence is hereby authorized to redistrict its town |
|

council and school committee districts as follows: |
|
1-3 |
Town council and school committee district one: |
|
1-4 |
District 1 of the town of North Providence shall consist of all that part of the town |
|
1-5 |
bounded by a line beginning at the intersection of the North Providence-Lincoln boundary line |
|
1-6 |
and Douglas Avenue; thence southerly on Douglas Avenue to Mineral Spring Avenue; thence |
|
1-7 |
westerly on Mineral Spring Avenue to Fruit Hill Avenue; thence southwesterly on Fruit Hill |
|
1-8 |
Avenue to Smith Street; thence westerly on Smith Street to Allen Avenue; thence southwesterly |
|
1-9 |
on Allen Avenue to Woonasquatucket Avenue; thence northerly on Woonasquatucket Avenue to |
|
1-10 |
Smith Street; thence westerly on Smith Street to the Johnston-North Providence boundary line; |
|
1-11 |
thence northerly on the Johnston-North Providence boundary line to the Smithfield-North |
|
1-12 |
Providence boundary line; thence easterly on the Smithfield-North Providence boundary line to |
|
1-13 |
the Lincoln-North Providence boundary line; thence easterly on the Lincoln-North Providence |
