RESOLVED, That the special legislative commission created by resolution No. 306 |

approved June 23, 2006, entitled “Joint Resolution Reinstating and Extending the Commission |

Life and Amending the Membership of the Special Legislative Commission to Study the Current |

Strengths and Weaknesses of Library Services in the State of Rhode Island” and as amended by |

resolution No. 280 passed by the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2007, and |

approved May 22, 2007, entitled “Joint Resolution Extending the Reporting and Expiration Dates |
|

and Amending the Special Legislative Commission to Study the Current Strengths and |
|
1-12 |
Weaknesses of Library Services in the State of Rhode Island” and as amended by resolution No. |
|

375 passed by the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2009, and approved November |
|
1-14 |
18, 2009, entitled “ Joint Resolution Reinstating, Extending, and Amending The Membership of |
|
1-15 |
the Karla Harry Commission on Libraries in the State of Rhode Island” is hereby reinstated and |
|
1-16 |
the same members are hereby reappointed, and it is authorized to continue its study and make a |
|
1-17 |
report to the General Assembly on or before June 2, 2015, and said commission shall expire on |
|
1-18 |
June 2, 2017; and be it further |
|
1-19 |
RESOLVED, That the time for reporting and date of expiration authorized by resolution |
|
1-20 |
375 passed by the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2009, be and the same are |
|

hereby rescinded. |

This resolution reinstates the life of and extends the reporting and expiration dates of the |

special legislative commission of the Karla Harry commission on libraries in Rhode Island from |
