It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
|
1-1 |
     SECTION 1. There shall be established a fund to provide grants to businesses located in |
|
1-2 |
the city of Pawtucket which have suffered financial hardship as a result of the traffic disruptions |
|
1-3 |
during the Pawtucket River Bridge #550 Project. The fund will be located at and administered by |
|
1-4 |
the economic development corporation to provide grants in pro-rated amounts of no greater than |
|
1-5 |
twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) per business for demonstrated damages. The economic |
|
1-6 |
development corporation is hereby directed to adopt rules, standards, guidelines and eligibility |
|
1-7 |
qualifications in its administration of the fund. |
|
1-8 |
     SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated for fiscal year 2013 the sum of one hundred |
|
1-9 |
thousand dollars ($100,000) for purposes of said fund. |
|
1-10 |
     SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
