RELATING TO PROPERTY -- RECORDING OF INSTRUMENTS

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Section 34-13-8 of the General Laws in Chapter 34-13 entitled "Recording

Of Instruments" is hereby amended to read as follows:

     34-13-8. Fees for attachments, executions, and mechanics' lien accounts. – (a) The

fees allowed to recording officers for receiving and filing the following described instruments

shall be as follows:

     Writ of attachment or execution affecting title to real estate $10.00

1-7

     Account under mechanics' lien law 10.00

1-8

     Writ of attachment or lien affecting title to mobile and manufactured homes 2.00

     (b) The recording officers are hereby authorized to charge a rate of one dollar ($1.00) for

each additional page.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
