A N A C T

RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

     Introduced By: Senators Felag, Ottiano, and Bates

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, the

Honorable Raymond B. Mars may join Jennifer Teresa Mars and Nathan Christopher Oliveira in

marriage within the City of Newport, Rhode Island, on or about June 21, 2012. The Honorable

Raymond B. Mars is hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage

1-5

pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled “Solemnization of

1-6

Marriages.”

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
