CONGRATULATING KAITLYN S. KRAJANOWSKI ON BEING NAMED | |

VALEDICTORIAN OF THE CUMBERLAND HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 2012 | |

WHEREAS, It is fitting that this House of Representatives recognizes those students |

who, through their talents and unflagging commitment to excellence, have distinguished |
|

themselves in both academia and in their communities; and |
|

WHEREAS, Kaitlyn S. Krajanowski, the daughter of Adam and Robin Krajanowski of |
|
1-5 |
Cumberland, is one such exceptional student. She has not only been named Valedictorian of the |
|
1-6 |
2012 graduating class at Cumberland High School by achieving the highest grade point average |
|
1-7 |
in her class, but she has also attained significant honors and awards for her outstanding |
|
1-8 |
community service; and |
|
1-9 |
WHEREAS, During her remarkable high school career, Kaitlyn S. Krajanowski attained |
|
1-10 |
an exemplary grade point average of 4.151, earning her the top spot at the Cumberland High |
|
1-11 |
School commencement exercises. She also distinguished herself as a multifaceted individual |
|
1-12 |
through her participation in extracurricular endeavors that include being a Girl Scout Gold Award |
|
1-13 |
recipient, as well as teaching religious education at her church; and |
|
1-14 |
WHEREAS, No stranger to scholastic honors and accolades, Kaitlin's academic |
|
1-15 |
achievements include being a member of the National Honor Society and the Rhode Island Honor |
|
1-16 |
Society, as well as earning the Harvard-Radcliffe Book Award, the President's Award for |
|
1-17 |
Educational Excellence, and the Society of Women Engineers Achievement Award for Math and |
|
1-18 |
Science; and |
|
1-19 |
WHEREAS, In the fall, Kaitlyn S. Krajanowski will be attending the University of Rhode |
|
1-20 |
Island, where she will pursue studies in pharmacy. This noteworthy achievement is most certainly |
|

a tremendous source of pride for her parents, her school, and her community; now, therefore be it |
|

RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and |
|
2-3 |
Providence Plantations hereby honors and congratulates Kaitlyn S. Krajanowski on being named |
|
2-4 |
Valedictorian of the Cumberland High School Class of 2012. The entire membership extends best |
|
2-5 |
wishes for her continued success and happiness; and be it further |

RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to |
