RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, The

Honorable Sharon Drumm, Justice of the Peace in Hamden, Connecticut, may join Sherrie A.

Amaral and Aaron L. Salinger in marriage within the Town of Narragansett, Rhode Island, on or

about June 9, 2012.  The Honorable Sharon Drumm is hereby authorized and empowered to join

1-5

the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general

1-6

laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
