H O U S E R E S O L U T I O N

EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF EUGENE L. ROSE

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Eugene L.

Rose; and

1-3

     WHEREAS, Our thoughts and hearts hold great empathy and sorrow for his loving wife

1-4

of fifty-five years, Lucille (Vital) Rose, daughter Anne Marie Rose-Baron, and her husband Jim,

1-5

and two granddaughters, Aurora N. and Liadan G. Rose Baron, on their tremendous loss; and

1-6

     WHEREAS, Born in Lajes de Pica, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel F. and

1-7

Adelaide (Goulart) Rose. Eugene worked as a payroll manager for American Insulated Wire for

1-8

forty-two years; and

1-9

     WHEREAS, Eugene was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He

1-10

enriched the lives of all who knew him and will be sadly missed; now, therefore be it

1-11

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

1-12

Providence Plantations hereby expresses our deepest sympathy to the family of Eugene L. Rose;

1-13

and be it further

1-14

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he is hereby authorized and directed to

1-15

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mrs. Lucille Rose.
