RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general law to the contrary, The Honorable

Frank C. Wood, Judge in the Justice Court of the Town of Laurens, New York, may join Mary

Beth Wood and Harold Anderson in marriage within the Town of New Shoreham, Rhode Island,

on or about September 8, 2012. The Honorable Frank C. Wood is hereby authorized and

1-5

empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter

1-6

15-3 of the general laws, entitled “Solemnization of Marriages.”

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
