RELATING CERTIFICATION OF CIVIL UNIONS

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Sandra

Pimentel may join Holly Ann LaVallee and Terrence Patrick Gray in civil union within the town

of Tiverton, Rhode Island, on or about April 14, 2012. Sandra Pimentel is hereby authorized and

empowered to join the foregoing persons in civil union pursuant to and in accordance with

1-5

chapter 15-3.1 of the general laws, entitled “Certification of Civil Unions.”

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
