CONGRATULATING JACK AND BARBARA HOGAN OF CRANSTON, RHODE ISLAND,

ON THE OCCASION OF THEIR 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

     WHEREAS, Jack and Barbara Hogan were married on June 6, 1953. Their love and

commitment flourished and over the next five decades the couple created and accumulated joyful

moments and shining memories. This year marks the auspicious occasion of the 50th “Golden”

Year Anniversary of their becoming husband and wife; and

     WHEREAS, The marriage of Jack and Barbara has been blessed in so very many ways.

They are the loving and supportive parents of seven children, Mary Hogan, Kathleen Hogan

1-7

McCrillis, Michael B. Hogan, John T. Hogan, Susan Hogan Eliason, Barbara Hogan and Thomas

Hogan; and

     WHEREAS, Jack and Barbara are also the doting grandparents of 13 beautiful

grandchildren, Allison McCrillis, John McCrillis, Andrew Hogan, Stephanie Eliason, Katherine

Hogan, Sarah Hogan-Beron, Michael J. Hogan, Susan McCrillis, Matthew Hogan, Eric Eliason,

Brian McCrillis, Sophie Hogan-Beron and Jack T. Hogan; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

hereby honors and congratulates Jack and Barbara Hogan on the memorable occasion of their 50th

Wedding Anniversary. The entire membership wishes them health, happiness and continued

prosperity; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he is hereby authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Jack and Barbara Hogan.
