It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |

SECTION 1. Chapter 5-6 of the General Laws entitled "Electricians" is hereby amended |
|
1-2 |
by adding thereto the following section: |
|
1-3 |
5-6-35. Uncollected fines. -- Any penalties, fines or fees imposed against any person, |
|
1-4 |
firm, association, or corporation or employers thereof and any representative, member or officer |
|
1-5 |
of such firm, association or corporation pursuant to the provisions of this chapter which are |
|
1-6 |
uncollectable shall be imposed upon the contractor, subcontractor or individual to which the |
|
1-7 |
permit to do work was issued. |
|
1-8 |
SECTION 2. Chapter 5-20 of the General Laws entitled "Plumbers" is hereby amended |
|
1-9 |
by adding thereto the following section: |
|
1-10 |
5-20-40. Uncollected fines. -- Any penalties, fines or fees imposed against any person, |
|
1-11 |
firm, association, or corporation or employers thereof and any representative, member or officer |
|
1-12 |
of such firm, association or corporation pursuant to the provisions of this chapter which are |
|
1-13 |
uncollectable shall be imposed upon the contractor, subcontractor or individual to which the |
|
1-14 |
permit to do work was issued. |

1-15 |
SECTION 3. Chapter 28-27 of the General Laws entitled "Pipefitters and Refrigeration |
|
1-16 |
Technicians, Fire Protection Sprinkler Contractors and Journeypersons Sprinkler Fitters and Oil |
|
1-17 |
Heat Contractors" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
|
