CONGRATULATING MARIANNE B. MULHOLLAND ON HER RETIREMENT AS CUMBERLAND TOWN CLERK

WHEREAS, Twenty five years ago Marianne Mulholland began her tenure as Cumberland Town Clerk; and

WHEREAS, A dedicated public servant Marianne Mulholland attended almost every town council meeting while serving as town clerk; and

WHEREAS, She was "a shining light in Town Hall," and was always eager to help any and all who sought her assistance; and

WHEREAS, A true professional, Marianne was most admired for her ability to disseminate information without interjecting her own political viewpoint; now therefore be it

RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations hereby congratulates Marianne Mulholland on her retirement after 25 years of dedicated commitment to the office of Town Clerk and the citizens of Cumberland; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Marianne Mulholland.
