MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF $1,666.19 TO PAY THE CLAIM OF JAMES M. MCLELLAN OF 34 LAKE DRIVE, NORTH KINGSTOWN, RHODE ISLAND 02852

RESOLVED, That there is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated for the fiscal 2000-2001 the sum of $1,666.19 to pay the claim of James M. McLellan of 34 Lake Drive, North Kingstown, Rhode Island 02852 for damages to his vehicle when it was struck by a sign which became separated from its stand, identifying a grass mowing procedure, which became airborne at or near Route 95 northbound and Route 195 eastbound in the city of Providence on or about October 14, 1999; and the state controller is hereby authorized and directed to draw his orders upon the general treasurer for the payment of said sum.
