A N A C T

RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, the

Honorable Byron Trefonides, a Justice of the Peace in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts may

join Jeslyn MacClary and Preston Miller in marriage, within the City of Newport, Rhode Island

1-4

on or about June 28, 2008. The Honorable Byron Trefonides is hereby authorized and empowered

to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the

1-6

general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
