| RELATING TO THE NORTH PROVIDENCE CHARTER -- THE SALVATORE MANCINI CENTER ON AGING |

| It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: |
| SECTION 1. Article 12, chapter 6 of chapter 237 of the 1973 Public Laws entitled "An Act |
| to Incorporate the Town of North Providence, as amended" is hereby further amended to read as |
| follows: |

| CHAPTER 6 SALVATORE MANCINI CENTER ON AGING |
| 12-6-1. Inclusion of Employees in town Health Coverage Department of the Salvatore |
| Mancini Center on Aging. |
| The full time employees of the Salvatore Mancini Center on Aging shall be considered |
| employees of the Town of North Providence for the sole purpose of taking part in the town's health |
| insurance plan. (00-S 3028 ยง l, July 18, 2000) There is hereby established within the Town of North |
| Providence government a department to be known as the "Salvatore Mancini Center on Aging." |
| 12-6-2. Organization and Function. |
| There shall be a director of the Salvatore Mancini Center on Aging, who shall be the head |
| of the department. The director shall be responsible for the effective management and oversight of |
| the Salvatore Mancini Center on Aging, as well as of its employees and any volunteers. |
| SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
