RELATING TO HOLIDAYS AND DAYS OF SPECIAL OBSERVANCE - DAYS OF SPECIAL OBSERVANCE

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 25-2-20 of the General Laws in Chapter 25-2 entitled "Days of

Special Observance" is hereby amended to read as follows:

25-2-20. Viet Nam Veterans' Day.

The fifteenth twenty-ninth day of May March shall annually be set aside as a day to be

known as "Viet Nam Veterans' Day." The day is to be observed by the people of this state with

appropriate exercises in public places.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
