| RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES -- RETAIL LICENSES--SMITHFIELD |

| It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: |
| SECTION 1. Chapter 3-7 of the General Laws entitled "Retail Licenses" is hereby |
| amended by adding thereto the following section: |
| 3-7-7.7. Class B license -- Smithfield. – Notwithstanding the provisions to the contrary |
| of § 3-7-7 or any other statute, rule, or regulation, the Smithfield town council and/or the |
| Smithfield licensing board may issue a Class B tavern license for the premises shown on the maps |
| of the tax assessor of the town of Smithfield as Lot 7 on Plat 17. |
| SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
