RELATING TO HEALTH AND SAFETY -- STATE BUILDING CODE

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 23-27.3-119 of the General Laws in Chapter 23-27.3 entitled "State Building Code" is hereby amended to read as follows:

23-27.3-119.0. Fee computation. -- The permit fees shall be computed according to the fee schedule and procedures adopted in each municipality. No fee shall be assessed for the first reinspection of work ~~which~~ that has failed the initial inspection; provided, a fee shall be allowed for all necessary subsequent reinspections of the same work.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
