RELATING TO HEALTH AND SAFETY - COMPREHENSIVE CHILDREN'S JEWELRY SAFETY ACT

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 23-24.11-3 of the General Laws in Chapter 23-24.11 entitled "Comprehensive Children's Jewelry Safety Act" is hereby amended to read as follows:

23-24.11-3. Requirements. -- All children's jewelry ~~manufactured~~ sold one hundred eighty (180) days after the effective date of this act shall meet the requirements of ASTM F 2923-11.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
