A N A C T
RELATING TO
MILITARY AFFAIRS AND DEFENSE

It is enacted by the General
Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 30-2-16 of the General Laws in Chapter
30-2 entitled "Organization
and Command of Military and Naval Forces" is hereby
amended to read as follows:
30-2-16.
Assistant adjutants general. -- There shall be two
(2) assistant adjutants
general with rank not to exceed that of brigadier general,
one of whom shall be detailed by the
adjutant general, with the approval of the governor, from the
federally recognized officers, or
from the retired officers, of the
