A N A C T

RELATING TO TAXATION - PROPERTY SUBJECT TO TAXATION

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

 

     SECTION 1. Chapter 44-3 of the General Laws entitled "Property Subject to Taxation" is

hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

 

     44-3-64. Tax exemption in the City of Pawtucket - Sandra Feinstein - Gamm

Theatre. -- The city council of the city of Pawtucket may by ordinance or resolution provide an

exemption from valuation for taxation any real, personal and motor vehicle property owned by

the Sandra Feinstein – Gamm Theatre, a Rhode Island 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation.

 

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
