A N A C T

RELATING TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY - RENAMING THE ART CENTER AT

RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 22-7.4 of the General Laws entitled "Permanent Joint Committee

on Naming All New Buildings, Bridges, Edifices and Other State Constructions" is hereby

amended by adding thereto the following section:

22-7.4-115. Alex and Ani Hall. – The building on the Rhode Island College campus in

Providence originally known as the Student Center and, since 1976, as the Art Center, shall

hereafter be named and known as “Alex and Ani Hall”.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
