A N A C T

EXEMPTING FROM TAXATION THE REAL, MIXED AND PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE ARC OF BLACKSTONE VALLEY

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. All the real, mixed and personal property, located at 605 Broad Street,

Cumberland, Rhode Island, owned by The Arc of Blackstone Valley, a 501(c)(3) non-profit

corporation which was incorporated in 1955, is a private nonprofit organization which has been

providing services and supports to persons with mental retardation and their families, shall be

exempt from state and local taxation so long as said property shall be used for the purposes for

which said corporation was incorporated.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
