A N A C T

RELATING TO CRIMINAL PROCEDURE -- SEARCH WARRANTS

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Section 2 of Chapter 441 and Section 2 of Chapter 493 of the 2004 Public

Laws, entitled "An Act Relating to Criminal Procedure – Search Warrants" are hereby amended

to read as follows:

     Section 2. This act shall take effect upon passage, and shall apply, without limitation, to

all criminal investigations and prosecutions, initiated subsequent to passage whether or not a

defendant has been charged.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
