It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Section
8-9-10 of the General Laws in Chapter 8-9 entitled "Probate
Courts" is hereby amended to read as
follows:
8-9-10.
Appointment and supervision of temporary custodians of decedents' estates.
-- Every probate court may appoint any suitable
person or persons as custodian or custodians to
have the charge and care of the real and
personal property of deceased persons, the settlement of

court, until letters testamentary or of administration
are granted; the court may require the
custodians to give bond to the court, with or without surety

compensation out of the estate.
