A N A C T

RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES - RETAIL LICENSES - THE OCEAN HOUSE

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule or regulation to the

contrary, the town of Westerly, through its town council and/or licensing board, is authorized, in

its discretion, to continue, by ordinance, to grant a retailer's Class B license for the business

known as "The Ocean House" through the period of its renovation, restoration and/or

replacement, and upon completion, to grant and issue such license.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
