A N A C T

RELATING TO TAXATION -- PROPERTY SUBJECT TO TAXATION

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Chapter 44-3 of the General Laws entitled "Property Subject to Taxation"

is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

44-3-59. Tax exemption in the town of Burrillville – The Columbus Club of

Burrillville. – The town council of the town of Burrillville may by ordinance or resolution

provide an exemption from valuation for taxation any real property owned by the Columbus Club

of Burrillville, Council 383, in an amount not to exceed seven hundred fifty thousand dollars

($750,000).

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
