A N A C T

RELATING TO INSURANCE - HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATIONS

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Chapter 27-41 of the General Laws entitled "Health Maintenance

Organizations" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

27-41-67. Determination of maximum coverage limitation for prescription drug

benefits. – The calculation of subscriber maximum coverage limitations for prescription drug

coverage shall be based upon the actual cost incurred by the health maintenance organization for

the purchase of the covered prescription drug.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
