A N A C T

RELATING TO RENAMING ROUTE 2, EXETER

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Chapter 22-7.4 of the General Laws entitled "Permanent Joint Committee

on Naming All New Buildings, Bridges, Edifices and Other State Constructions" is hereby

amended by adding thereto the following section:

22-7.4-89. Veterans’ Memorial Highway. – The portion of Route 2, running between

the junction of Route 2 and Route 102 south and up to the junction of Route 2 and Route 138,

shall hereafter be named and be known as the “Veterans’ Memorial Highway.”

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
