RELATING TO FAMILY COURT

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Chapter 42-72 of the General Laws entitled Children, Youth and Families

Department is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

42-72-17.1 Location of facilities. -- No facility or portion of a facility of the "Rhode

Island Training School for Youth" shall be located on any portion of the property within the city

of Cranston known as the John O. Pastore Center as described in section 22-7.4-34 which is south

of Howard Avenue, so called.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
