AN ACT

RELATING TO MISCELLANEOUS RULES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Chapter 31-22 of the General Laws entitled "Miscellaneous Rules" is

hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

31-22-29. Inspection of fire apparatus vehicles. – Any motor vehicle bearing fire

apparatus plates shall be subject to a yearly inspection in accordance with the criteria listed in the

national fire protection association (NFPA) standard 1915, 2000 edition.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
