AN ACT

EXEMPTING FROM TAXATION THE REAL, MIXED AND PERSONAL PROPERTY OF THE RHODE ISLAND SOCIETY OF THE SONS OF THE REVOLUTION IN

MIDDLETOWN

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. The town council of Middletown may exempt from local taxation all or any

portion of the real, mixed and personal property located at Lot 117, Plat 108SE in the town of

Middletown owned by the Rhode Island Society of the Sons of the Revolution, a nonprofit

corporation, so long as such property shall be used for the purposes for which the corporation was

incorporated.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
