AN ACT

RELATING TO CITIES AND TOWNS -- EXEMPTING FROM TAXATION CERTAIN

PROPERTY OF THE HEALING CO-OP, INC.

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. That the town of Middletown may, by ordinance, exempt from taxation any

or all real, mixed and/or personal property owned or leased by the Healing Co-op, Inc., a Rhode

Island nonprofit corporation, so long as said property shall be used for the purposes for which

said corporation was incorporated.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
