AN ACT

RELATING TO ELECTRICIANS

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Section 5-6-19 of the General Laws in Chapter 5-6 entitled "Electricians" is

hereby amended to read as follows:

5-6-19. Display and exhibition of certificates. – Display of licenses. - - (a) Holders of

Certificates A, E, AF, and SCF keep their certificate displayed in a conspicuous place in their

principal office or place of business. Holders of Certificates Licenses B, F, BF, and CF, A, E, AF

and SCF are furnished by the division of professional regulation with evidence of having been

licensed in card form or otherwise, which is carried on the person of the licensee and exhibited on

request.

      (b) Any sign, listing, or advertisement of any type of a holder of those certificates

licenses contains the holder's name, address, and certificate license number; provided, only those

persons, firms, or corporations who are holders of a Class A license are permitted to advertise for

the employment of journeyperson or electrical apprentices.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
