A N A C T

RELATING TO STATE BUDGET

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 35-3-7(a) of the general laws

entitled “Submission of Budget to General Assembly,” the governor shall submit to the general

assembly a budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004 not later than the fourth (4th) first (1st)

Wednesday in February March 2003.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
