A N A C T

RELATING TO STATE BUDGET

     It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 35-3-7(a) of the general laws

entitled “Submission of Budget to General Assembly,” the governor shall submit to the general

assembly a budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004 not later than the fourth (4th)

Wednesday in February 2003.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
