RELATING TO FOOD AND DRUGS - UNIFORM CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ACT

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 21-28-3.29 of the General Laws in Chapter 21-28 entitled "Uniform Controlled Substances Act" is hereby repealed.

21-28-3.29. Possession lawful only in original container. -- An ultimate user to whom or for whose use any controlled substance has been lawfully dispensed may lawfully possess it only in the container in which it was delivered to him or her by the person selling or dispensing the controlled substance.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
