It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 34-4 of the General Laws entitled "Estates in Real Property" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

34-4-28. Title to real estate -- Trusts -- Conveyance to named trust. -- Notwithstanding the provisions of 34-4-27, title to real estate derived from a conveyance to a named trust by an instrument in which the trustees are not named as grantees is not on that account defective, and such conveyance shall be deemed to vest title to the real estate in the trustees of the named trust.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
