RELATING TO PUBLIC RECORDS -- ACCESS TO PUBLIC RECORDS

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 38-2 of the General Laws entitled "Access to Public Records" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

38-2-3.1. Records required. -- All records required to be maintained pursuant to this chapter shall not be replaced or supplemented with the product of a "real-time translation reporter."

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
