RELATING TO THE TOWN CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF NORTH PROVIDENCE

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 1, Article 12 of Chapter 237 of the 1973 Public Laws entitled "An Act to Incorporate the Town of North Providence" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following chapter:

Chapter 6

Salvatore Mancini Center on Aging

12-6-1. Inclusion of employees in town health coverage. - The full time employees of the Salvatore Mancini Center on Aging shall be considered employees of the Town of North Providence for the sole purpose of taking part in the Town's health insurance plan.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
