RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

Introduced By:  Senators Algiere and Kelly Date Introduced:  March 8, 2000

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, the Honorable Governor Lincoln C. Almond, Governor of the State of Rhode Island and resident of the Town of Lincoln, is hereby authorized and empowered, pursuant to and in accordance with Chapter 15-3 of the general laws, to join in marriage Lisa Ann Pelosi and Edward John Quinlan at a place within the state of Rhode Island on May 7, 2000.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
