MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF $1,951.36 TO PAY THE CLAIM OF PATRICIA E. CARTER OF 38 CHESTNUT AVENUE, CRANSTON, RHODE ISLAND 02910

RESOLVED, That there is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated for the fiscal year 1997-1998 the sum of $1,951.36 to pay the claim of Patricia E. Carter of 38 Chestnut Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island 02910 for damage to her vehicle which occurred on January 31, 1997 when, while traveling north on Route 295, just north of Route 37, in the city of Cranston during a snow removal/sanding procedure, it was struck by sand picked up by a snowplow; and the state controller is hereby authorized and directed to draw his orders upon the general treasurer for the payment of said sum.
