RELATING TO MAKING APPROPRIATIONS IN SUPPORT OF FY 2022 | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Without modifying other appropriations made, subject to the conditions, |
2 | limitations and restrictions hereinafter contained in this act, the following general revenue amounts |
3 | are hereby appropriated out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated to be expended |
4 | during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023. The amounts identified for federal funds and restricted |
5 | receipts shall be made available pursuant to § 35-4-22 and Chapter 41 of Title 42 of the Rhode |
6 | Island General Laws. For the purposes and functions hereinafter mentioned, the state controller is |
7 | hereby authorized and directed to draw his or her orders upon the general treasurer for the payment |
8 | of such sums or such portions thereof as may be required from time to time upon receipt by him or |
9 | her of properly authenticated vouchers: |

13 | Provided that $250,000 shall be for the children’s cabinet, established under Chapter 72.5 of Title |
14 | 42, to assist with the planning for an early childhood governance structure of and for the transition |
